Paul Emmons

Level 3 CrossFit Trainer / Co-Owner / Nutrition Coach

Paul is one of the few Certified CrossFit Level 3 Trainers (CF-L3) in the United Kingdom. To become a Level 3 trainer you must have completed the requirements of the Level 1 and Level 2 Certificate courses, demonstrate at least 750 hours of CrossFit coaching, (Paul has over 4000 hours and counting) and then pass the Certified CrossFit Trainer examination. This is a 4 hour exam with 160 questions. The last 10 years have seen Paul go from fitness instructor in a large gym, to personal trainer and gym manager, to gym owner.

Outside of the gym Paul spends most of my time learning new techniques, and programming clients/members. His favourite part of the job is taking somebody with no fitness background, or little self confidence, and giving them the tools they need to discover their capabilities.

Donna Owen

CrossFit Kids Coach / Co-Owner

Donna was first introduced to CrossFit in 2011, naively agreeing to make up a team of 3 males and 1 female at one of the country’s most popular CrossFit competitions, ‘Divided we Fall’ in Swansea. Whilst this was a baptism of fire for her, Donna was in awe of the athletes she witnessed that weekend, and vowed to get stronger, and to master the technical elements of CrossFit. Three years later, she’s still trying! But with several major competitions and one victory under her belt, she’s a lot closer.

Her real passion is for the physical education of children, and Donna launched CrossFit Norwich Kids in the summer of 2014, with three main objectives. To get kids moving, for them to be aware of how their bodies work, and to build a balanced understanding of nutrition.
